Case study

Toorly

An international platform for artists and their audiences. We have kept it on our own servers since 2015: millions of views a day, thousands of daily active users.

The problem

What never changes: the audience is international, so load runs around the clock and comes from nowhere in particular; artists bring traffic in spikes rather than a steady stream; and the stack is WordPress, which at these numbers does not survive on its own.

What we did

We took on everything underneath the application and have been answerable for it for eleven years running: availability, response time, platform security, and migrations as it grew.

Result

11 years in operation Millions of views a day and thousands of daily active users — on the same engine, without ever changing platform. It is our longest-running project, and the best argument that “still working years later” is not a figure of speech here.

Hosting as a service

We take on high-load applications regardless of stack — we do not rewrite somebody else’s code, we make sure it responds quickly where the user actually notices.
